Centro Cultural de San Carlos presents
XIX IBIZA INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION H.R.H. Princess Irene of Greece, President of Honour Will take place from 30th August to 5th September, 2010, at the Centro Cultural de San Carlos, Ibiza, Spain. All participants will present there on Monday, 30th August at 17’00 hours (5 p.m.) for the presentation. Participants All pianists can participate in the competition, without limitations of nationality or residence, born after the 1st January 1980, inclusive. Young pianists will be the ones born after the 1st January 1994, inclusive. Required program Pianists (timming: 45 minutes maximum): - Prelude and fugue by Johann Sebastian Bach - One sonata of free election - One work of free election Young pianists (timming: 35 minutes maximum): - Prelude and fugue or invention to 3 voices or to 2 voices by Johann Sebastian Bach - One sonata or sonatina of free election - One work of free election Registration the participants must sent before the 15th July 2010: - photocopy of the national identity card or passport. - application form that you can find at www.concursopianoibiza.com - a passport photography. - bank payment photocopy for inscription rights and accommodation. The prize-giving party will happen on Sunday 5th September 2010, at 22’00 hours. All participants will receive a diploma of participation and the won prize, renouncing to the prize in case of no present oneself. Accommodation Registration rights: 102 euros includes first class hotel accommodation at Hoteles Fiesta Company with breakfast and supper (from 30th August to 5th September, both inclusive). Registration rights for pianists under 18 years old include one accompanier. Other accompaniers (only for the young pianists) will pay the same amount.
